Our Boat Didn’t Have Room to Lounge — Until We Found This

Boy and family playing on a Solstice 10 by 10 Inflatable Dock

I’m the proud owner of a 19-foot runabout. It’s perfect for cruising, tubing, and quick swims—but when it comes to just chilling, let’s just say space is tight. On most weekends, my wife and I love anchoring in a quiet cove to enjoy the sun and a good book… but our boat? Not exactly built for stretching out.

Every time we tried to relax, we ended up sitting upright, cramped, and shifting around to avoid stepping on each other’s feet or gear. I started thinking, “There’s got to be a better way to add a little comfort without upgrading our whole boat.”

That’s when I came across the Solstice Inflatable Dock—and wow, what a difference it makes.

Here’s what changed:

• Instant extra space: We inflate it right off the back of the boat and suddenly have a 10 x 10 ft floating lounge . It’s sturdy, stable, and feels like adding a second deck.

• Perfect for relaxing: We lie back, sunbathe, dip our toes in the water, or just float and watch the waves. It’s our little lakefront patio—except it moves with us.

• Setup and storage are easy: It packs down small, inflates quickly, and fits neatly into our carry bag when we’re done. No hassle, just more space to enjoy the water.

If your boat is like ours—big on fun but short on square footage—I can’t recommend this inflatable dock enough. It turned our tight deck into a floating hangout, and now we never hit the water without it.

Here’s to kicking back in comfort,
Mark & Julia
